The Mould Rescue Part 2Posted: February 6, 2015
It sort of worked but mostly didnt. The mould split ok but the line across it was weak jagged and with a few chunks out of it.
The technique involved sawing around just shy of the positive and then tapping along the crack with a spatula and mallet lighty until the mould falls apart cleanly.
The surface of the positive held the mould halfs together a bit, preventing them from parting cleanly, thus it had to be pried and pulled apart a bit and this left the mould and positive damaged.
I will turn another.
