Another CleanPosted: May 1, 2015
I was still getting patchy reaults in my enamel test pieces and decided I needed my steel bowl to be cleaner. I sanded the exterior with a grinder and then used a wire brush wheel for the interior – that was a bit tricky and scary but it worked out. Im hoping with a super clean surface the enamel will adhere better. I intend to build up a succession of thin coats to achieve a layer to put colour enamels on. The blasting cabinet has a new grit in it called Honeite I think. Its super good, better than the old sand but gives static shocks like crazy!
