Bronze Medal Finished

My bronze medal is finished! After having been poured my medal came out of the ceramic shell almost perfect and done. There was a small amount of finishing work to do (grinding back raiser stumps, redetailing and sandblasting). After sandblasting I coloured the bronze black with a chemical solution which called for the work to be hot so that the solution evporates leaving a tough black patina.  I then rubbed the black patina back with wire wool giving bright highlighted raised parts with patina in the inlayed designs making them standout against the soft shining metal.
